wristwatch.com offers Omega's at 30-35% discount. So, a $1750 bond model Seamaster would run me $1138 or so, $1158 w/ the 2-day shipping!

Sounds just like this place - they have a 2 year warranty on the watch, not factory, but they'll do the work. They apparently have been on the net for a while, and claim that they have lots of satisfied customers - even tell you to check the BBB in their area for complaints.
I'm considering a Tag for my wife, and my try out Bailey, Banks & Biddle to see how they'd do. Or, I may try out wristwatch.com for the Tag, to see how they do.
Sacrificing the wife, I know, I know. ;-)
