In Response To: Wait for 2000 Seamaster models or buy now? ()

I just saw a photo of the 150th anniversary Seamaster Pro on the Timezone Omega forum. This one is in titanium, with the GMT Pro-style dial (available in blue and black) and hands, and a steel bezel with etched black numerals. It's definitely striking, but I have to say I like my SM Pro "Bond" better. While the skeleton hands can be a little hard to see in low light, I think it's a more classic style, and will probably (I hope) look better longer. I like the sword hands on the new one, and the bezel is handsome, but the big indicators are a bit too much for me. It's always a risk to buy a new model (of anything) in its first year. Who knows how long this one will stay in production, or how popular it will be. The current SM Pro has become a classic in its ten plus years, and I think will endure in popularity.

But of course I think that since I only bought my watch two weeks ago and don't want anything to make me second guess my purchase!
