: Has anyone considered (semi)permanently sealing
: the helium escape valve. Mine is always

: the shower).
: Thanks for your advice...
Mr. Jones,
I have been wearing a Seamaster Pro everyday
for almost four years now in many different
enviroments and situations. The watch has many
dings and scratches. During this time NEVER has
the escape valve or the winding crown just
"opened of its own accord." I always check them
regulary to make sure the are snug. If your story
is true, and I doubt that it is, I contend that
it is you sir, that is opening the valve and
leaving it open by accident. And one other thing,
why in the hell would someone wear a watch in
the shower? I have always been dumbfounded by
this practice. You get soapscum and all kinds
of nasty substances all over it. GROW UP BOYS!
Your watch will still be there when you get out
of the shower or tub.
Regards, JTF
