I had my doubts, but i called Omega and they infact got the watch and did the work. I know that not all stores send out there watches to the factory. But, I did call Omega, and indeed they performed the work. Maybe, my watch was worked on a Monday morning or late Friday after noon (hehehehe)
Sadly, not every jeweler actually sends the watch to Omega.
: Some say they do and then send it to a local or their own
: service people.
: Frankly, you are better off sending the watch to Omega
: directly yourself. That way you KNOW it really went to the
: factory for service.
