Dave - I asked my watchmaker to re-dial my original Seamaster and he persuaded me not to! It has minute black spots all over the dial, which are so small that you don't really notice them. I am glad he did so now because I feel it is more genuine than it would otherwise have been. However, with the other Seamasters - which I bought secondhand - I would have them redialled if they needed it. They are not so special to me!
Just a personal thing.
