: I will be purchasing my 1st Omega this week, I
: am having difficulty decided between the
: basic Speedy and the Seamaster Pro.
...I have a basic speedy,-things I don't like: no date,Hesalite crystal scratches very easily,I find the chrono minute register a bit small.
I also have 2 Seamaster Pro regular & Chrono, very classy watches, very rugged except the bracelet finish which scuffs easily. The chrono is very large and heavy but none the worse for that! The basic Speedy really looks cheap compared to any of the Seamasters IMO.Don't buy until you've had a look at each in your hand and on your wrist.
