Re: New watch accuarcy
In Response To: New watch accuarcy *PIC* ()

Hi,

According to my experience you should expect it getting worse when "breaking in".

My exactly same SeMP was loosing 2 sec a day when bought new (more than a year ago). about a month later it began to loose 4-5 sec a day and before guarantee expired, it lost about 8-9 sec a day so I'd decided adjusting it at the Omega lab.
The watch is now gaining by +1 sec per 4-5 days.

Regards, Baruch.

PS, all the numbers related to while the watch was wearing only.

: How accurate should my new SMP automatic be in
: the first few weeks? This watch was ordered
: from Omega so I assume it hasn't been run
: very much. Right now I’m loosing 5 seconds a
: day which isn’t bad I guess. Will it get
: better as the watch breaks in?

: Just thought I would throw in a picture for
: fun.
