If it is on the blue part, there is no quick solution. But the entire bezel can be replaced for about $90-120.
But I don't see how you could make a real scratch by "lightly" brushing it against some wood--unless a nail was sticking out of the wood. These watches are not made of tissue paper you know! I've had mine for 4.5 years and that involved living through a tornado that destroyed half my house and a year's worth of cleanup and remodeling effort afterwards. I only took my SMP off when doing major lifting or chopping and never managed to scratch the bezel or crystal.
