Yep......this is a similiar system as the one i described regarding my experiences with the Elgin solar powered rechargable battery watches. I'm not sure if they will leak when discharged like a regular battery.......but "forever" it ain't! Elgin makes a similiar claim.
Maybe they should say: "It never needs a battery so long as the rechargable one is working properly" hehe
OR...."guarenteed for the "life" of the watch." (ie....when the watch stops it's "life" is over!)
