As I mentioned I gave away my watch. But still I've have the papers it came with. Though I never
read those carefully after reading Joseph's
message I tried to find out what is this all about
It's a lithium-iodine battery works with it's
microelectronic unit and this technology has been
utilized in pacemakers. Couple of years ago I got a chance to see the battery while my watchmaker opened the caseback to repair the crown. It didn't look like a regular tiny cell. It was a
big & flat battery, same size as caseback and
attached to it. Whatever it is, the fact is that
it's runing well-nine years! Honestly I don't know
much about batteries. So Robert, I won't dare to
answer your question, probably Joseph can. Thanks.
