Actually, they backed off their price increases quite a bit. They were originally going to offer that watch at $4095. They backed off $800.
They are "only" raising the price $500 above the current model price of $2795.
Last I heard (in July), the release date would be October. Not surprised to hear it's now December.
The issue of "lower prices on existing SeMPC" will be up to the individual retailer. Most likely in their attempt to clear stock and free up capital to buy new models. This will not be because of any new pricing structure from Omega the company.
