Thank you Derek for the information about the "waterproof" issue. I will have the watch serviced after the holidays and hopefully get more information about it. Other wise the watch has a little bit of history. The person who sold it to me use to work for a Locomotive company (manufacturing). He told me they use the Omega watches to time the amount on heat balance release by the radiator, also oil and water flow on the engines (Gallons/per minute).
The spec of the engines: 16 cylinder & 3000HP.
