Speedmaster Reduced, 3510.50

I'm condsidering one of these nice looking watches, as I think the fullsize may be just a little too big for me. I'am looking for +/- comments on the speedy reduced. I thought I had read a post some time ago which indicated that the movements wer so hard to service, that new movements were installed rather trying to disassemble & reassemble? (of course I might have dreamed that too?)
