Heh, I suspect you've never experienced the joy of Aston motoring in that case.
Your remark about tennis prompts me to make another pro-quartz point. A few contributors have observed that they feel more confident that the quartz model will take more of a licking than the auto. I've regularly abused mine, I'm ashamed to say, and it's taken everything I've thrown at it (touch wood).
