I have a Seamaster quartz. I purchased it March 1998. About June, the battery was going dead (jumping second hand) so I took it back and the store replaced it.
Early this year, it died again. I took it to a different (authorized) Omega jeweler, and they sent it back to the company.
After three weeks it came back running; but Omega did not indicate what they had done - if anything. If this runs true to the course, it will die again this fall.
However, I hope that they fixed the problem, whatever it was.
My 2 pennies. Good luck.
