Like many others, my interest in Omegas started here at about the time Derek created this site, and correspondence with Derek was truly a special part of the hobby. I have not been a regular here during recent years, but have always returned from time to time to check on the site, and my last was May 18, 2005.
I truly appreciated what Derek did to share his enthusiasm and interest in Omega with this wonderful web site, and I will miss him very much.
My heartfelt sympathies to Derek's family and all of the many who, like me, always considered him a friend.
