Why does someone who is in the prime of their life, clearly a great giver of themselves and a recipient of so many thanks, go ahead and commit SUICIDE??
Holy f*cking sh*t. I just lost a friend last year, due to a stupid useless bicycle accident. He was too impatient to put on a helmet and suffered a fatal blow to his head upon impact with the pavement. He had no choice in this matter, other than the critical safety measure. He didn't choose to fall. But to put a gun to one's head...
Well, obviously Derek was hiding a lot more than anyone could have imagined. What a terrible shame... if only he had reached out to someone for help... to talk him through his troubles, whatever they were.
Anyway, I'm really pissed off at him. There's really just no excuse for blowing one's self away. This is a sick and selfish action... what of his family and loved ones? Damned it all... what a tragedy on all counts. I just hope this early conclusion of "self inflicted gunshot wound" is a mistake.
If there's anyone else out there thinking similarly, I hope you've read this. Suicicde doesn't solve any problem but in turn creates many more.
