zOwie Omega Discussion Forum

I was so shocked and saddened when I read the news on another watch forum a few days ago. Like many of you, this was the first watch site I found on the internet, and I continued to visit it frequently because of my own interest in Omega watches. I didn't know who Derek Ziglar was, but I appreciated his keeping this site running and with no commercial revenue. I liked his sense of humor in calling himself 'Zowie' after those 'In like Flint' movies. I always thought they were hilarious too.

Derek was probably outstanding in his profession as the web design here is the best of any watch site. I posted here a couple of times --once asking a question directly to Derek. He responded quickly and was quite helpful. I did not know him otherwise, but I am grateful for his work here.

Thanks for posting all of the links about Derek. I feel I have gotten to know him and his thoughtful work and opinions a little better.

My prayers go to his family for a sense of peace and well-being and consolation from a loving God.
