well, i've purchased three self winding omegas. only one gaiined more than five seconds a day (the others are right on, gaining and losing 2 seconds or so depending on the day, and overall keep excellent time. i returned the one that was 5 seconds fast. omega fixed it and now they're all in sync. great, great watches. i own a quartz omega and it keeps track of everything, including the leap year and it's always right on, exactly right on. ~meehall
