Mine is like that too. I have no problem with visibility. In fact, if Gene hadn't written that post, I would have. Mine left the factory on 10/23/98 and in the dark more closely resembles your revised picture, but I must say my hour markers do look bigger to me than in your illustration. Not a criticism, I hasten to add. I must admit I personally do not like the new design at all, but "horses for courses" and all that.
