They have a 3 year warranty and I emailed another owner who had service on his Omega done through them and he was very satisfied with the work. They arn't some fly by night company that will leave you wishing you had purchased elsewhere when you need something. By the way I have no affiliation with them, just a satisfied customer.
I was pretty nervous before I got the watch, but once I opened up the box, all my fears (rip off, scratched off serial, etc) evaporated. Even today I was at a customer site and I looked at the time and smiled--the face was glowing after the sun hit on the luminos and it was semi dark in the room--it was glowing so bright and looked very impressive.
No serial number, but you can't tell that there ever was one, very professionally done. In my research I found 1 other company that was about 300 more for the same watch with a serial number--if I hadn't read about the serial issue prior to purchase I would have never even known. The watch is genuine and was brand new, all boxes, warranty, even the plastic protector on the band and face were intact. All things considered, it wasn't worth 300 for me just to have a serial number when the watch has a limited warranty anyway, and I plan on owning it for a long time.
World of Watches was very professional, and fast. I placed my order on Monday and had my watch on Tuesday morning. I took it into my local Omega dealer and had a link removed for sizing the band without incident (except for the salesperson telling me how sweet my watch was, and she had never seen one like it (in real life) hehe) I think the serial number is over rated unless you want to get your COSC paperwork (why?) or you feel like you will have a hard time selling it later (if its after the warranty period who cares?) You can still get service on it anywhere and I saved almost 1,000.00. Now when I see another Omega owner I have the satisfaction of knowing I paid less for the top of the line, than they did for the basic model :) heheh.
