A short time ago, I bought a SMPChronograph/chronometer. I had wanted an Omega since I was a kid so I was very excited. I am a diving instructor so I actually "use" the diving features.
To the point...I have two questions I would really appreciate your help with!
First, shortly after purchasing,I noticed the bezel's triangle did not line up at the face's 12 o'clock red dot (as well as many other places). I asked the store about it and they replaced it. The second one is still off, but not as much. Does anyone else notice this?
And second, (and more importantly)at what time is the date supposed to change? On all of my other watches the date changes at approximately 12 o'clock, on my new SMPC the number does not flip in until roughly 12:40. Is this correct or is there a calibration problem. I just picked up this second watch 3 days ago (also the clasp won't stay closed...pins stay stuck in and don't pop back out). I bought the watch from an authorized dealer.
Thanks...your help and insights are much appreciated!
