: I now have a Titanium Seamaster Chronograph
: (2298), my first Omega chronograph. Please
: help with two questions: Is the titanium
: Bond-style bracelet supposed to be sold with
: a half-link?
Yes, there should be a half-link on the 6 o'clock side of the bracelet. You should also get 11 full links in the bracelet as well.
: The pushers operate with a firm 'click'. Firmer
: than other chronographs that I have. Should
: it be this way, or should it be smooth with
: a very delicate click?
The ones I've tried out in the shops have what I would describe as "firm but certain" clicks. I have tried out other chronos which have softer clicks, but they feel kind of crappy because you seem to keep pushing and then eventually they finally engage. I prefer a firm, sure click to one that is mushy and soft. That's just my preference, though.
By the way, the 2298.80 is a GREAT watch. You have made a superb selection. Chuck Maddox, one of this site's administrators, has one that he swears by. Sadly, Omega doesn't make this titanium version any longer.
