Thanks, all. The watch was supposed to be a new display demo, but I doubt the authenticity of the claim due to the missing half-link, a warranty card where the date was scratched off and re-written, and the card holder which I think is supposed to be red but is white. Visibly the watch is in excellent condition, but fitment without the half link has kept me from getting it comfortably sized.

Your help will help me decide how to handle this.
