My Omega pocket watch doesn't carry the greek omega either on the caliber, yet it does on the dial and on the inside of the case back. So, I am convinced it is a true omega.
Mine is estimated 1930.
Please check the omega vintage website, they have a .pdf on which the serial/caliber numbers refer to earliest production date. Isn't 100% exact, but gives a fairly good feeling.
Browsing half a day - half a life on google might help you as well ;-))
