For the answer to the NUMBER #1 most frequently asked question here--for details or value of a specific older Omega watch you have--go to: Tell Me About My Omega. | Learn more about How To Include Photos and HTML In Your Postings. | To contact someone with a question not relevant to other readers of the forum, please click on their email address and contact them privately. |
The 2599 reference is definitely wrong, and Omega's watchfinder doesn't lead to any SS/Gold Seamaster - lots of Connie's and Deville's, but I have never seen any reference to a 9 link SS/Gold Band. Titanium/Gold (2296) combinations did exist for the Seamaster with just that dial, but the nagging question that remains in my brain is: If it's real, what was the caliber for this watch?? The list price for the new one also looks to be too high, as actual list for the Ti/Gold was UNDER $6K, and an SS/Gold gold combo SHOULD be cheaper.
