I take it you mean that you are thinking of buying it from a bricks-and-mortar establishment and not online?
I went to our local authourised Omega dealer and asked them for a PO 2209.50 and they tried (like they all do) to charge me retail.
I told them that I would buy it tomorrow if they did it for £1525 (it was a while ago) as this was the price I had seen it elsewhere.
They agreed. Job done :-)
You can get it for close to online prices in shops and I would buy it from a shop.
btw - If you go for insurance, don't do it from a shop as they tend to go way overboard. Stick it on your house insurance (covers anywhere use) and it works out at a fraction of the cost.
