I'm certainly NOT an expert on pre-Bonds, but like you, thought they should have a seahorse ( sometimes called a hippocampus ).

All I can suggest is that you remove the case back & check out which case ref no is on the inside of the caseback. We can then check this to make sure it is the correct caseback.

I've never seen a fake Pre-Bond.
