I recently bought a used Seamaster from a reputable jeweler in Chicago. I noticed afer a couple of days that it was running a tad slow. I have a year warranty thru them. I called and they said that it can take some time to get the watch accustomed to you. He said wait couple of weeks and if I'm still having this problem bring it in and they will regulate it. Do mechanical watches need regulating often? He also said to place it crown up when taking it off for the night. Is this good advice?
