: Hello everyone.! great forum, very informative.
: Hoping someone can help me.!
: I bought a Omega DeVille C-Axial Chronoscope
: (Cal. 3313 - Ref 4850.30.37) about 3 months
: ago. Everything is been fine, until monday.
: I noticed my watch was dead. (funny as i
: have it on a winder when not used..)
: took me forever to get it going again on Monday
: morning, got it to work, used it about 12
: hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,
: Thursday, on friday morning it was dead.
: Called local AD he tells me that wrist
: movement isnt enough, that i need to
: physically wind it by turning the crown
: about 40 times from the neutral
: position(wearing position) clockwise, (if
: looking at logo on crown). there is the
: problem. My crown doesnt move in this
: position, it moves counterclock wise, but
: not clockwise. if it pull it out one more
: time, (position 2-date change) then it
: works. AD tells me to take in and send it to
: Omega, but i hear they keep it for months.!
: help..! does anyone one have the same model
: that can confirm if their crown moves
: clockwise in position 1..?
I've played with the watch at the store. You have a warranty issue.
Visit your AD and get it addressed.
