I just dug this vintage omega watch out of some stored boxes I had.
My grandfather gave this watch to me and I didn't appreciate it until I had seen it recently. It's really quite beautiful and fits me perfectly now.
It does have a scratched glass face though and I'm about to go price shopping to see what it costs to replace and clean, but I'm unsure of the make and model, information that would probably be useful to have when some Omega fanatics (like yourselves perhaps?) ask.
Here's the information I've got:
1. It's silvery in colour and probably stainless steel.
2. It has the words: omega, automatic, geneve, on the face.
3. The face is white/silvery.
4. The back has the omega insignia.
5. I can't seem to find any identifying numbers and I'm very hesitant to open it as a. I don't have the tools, b. methinks it's a bit expensive to toy around with.
Here's some pics.
Can you tell me what make/model and what year it was made?
