Further thoughts about the 376.0822...
How about the "Maddox Grail"?
1. It identifies the man.
2. It identifies what the watch meant to him.
3. It's not "cute", which I believe fits it's namesake.
4. It's not a far-cry from it's current moniker.
5. It's a simple combination of the man and the name he bestowed upon the watch.
Opinions?
Also - I'd like to remind everyone that Chuck did not have the type of relationship with Omega that, for example, Jeff has with Tag/Heuer. I think that ANY usage of Chuck's name being attached to a new Omega (even a 5100 powered 376.0822 re-issue) is a dicey proposition at best. Let's not forget Chuck's public and very vocal lambasting of the current management and product line at Omega.
Just my 2 cents. (Actual value less than 2 cents.)
