On a "family vacation" in San Francisco, I found myself in a vintage watch store, which had this Porsche Design. I knew that I liked the look (the clean dial, shape of bracelet links, and warmer-than-usual color of the titanium), and the price seemed reasonable, but I was not familiar enough with the "PD"s to pull the trigger, without a call to Chuck. So Chuck helped me identify the watch (Orfina versus Eterna, etc.), confirmed that it was a desirable version, told me how much he enjoyed his PDs, and told me to "Go For It!!".
So here it is . . . one of the classic, "Chuck Made Me Buy It" watches.
