Pretty much an emotional reaction from a confirmed cynic and professional skeptic caught a bit by surprise . . . .
Disappointed I didn't anticipate Omega's actions more and better understand Antiquorum's motivations
Unsurprised at the fact they acted in the way they did once I understood
Angry at my naivety and the lack of transparency in the auction process by Antiquorum as compared to how it is practiced by older and more established houses
TZ moderator behavior and Patrizzi's departure are of little consequence to me, merely curiosity as to the timing
In some ways, the WSJ piece says a whole lot less than it implies.
By the way, in essence, Antiquorum is having an investigation of accounting irregularities. No one seems to have commented on that . . .
