: 1) The Problem of Small Wrists: I'd prefer a Speedmaster or
: Seamaster, which (it seems to me) could be worn with a suit, but
: also perhaps with more casual clothes. Unfortunately, the
: smaller diamter and thickness of the Constellation seems better
: suited to my small wrists. I thought I had read in this forum
: that some Omega models have different sizes (I think I read the
: smaller sizes are more popular in Asia, where wrists may tend to
: more my size). If so, which models are available in different
: sizes (and is there an AD in the metro DC area where I could see
: for myself)?
: 2) As a government employee and the father of 3 young children, I
: am eager to get the best deal on a new Omega that I can, but
: would like to stick to ADs only. Would anyone be willing to
: share the dealer in DC who gives the full 30% discount (and no
: sales tax for out of state residents)? Anyone know of ADs
: willing to give a law enforcement discount?
: Thanks in advance!
If you're considering buying a vintage watch. Go see Tom at Bethesda Jeweler's. He's located at 7315 Wisconsin Avenue (Air Rights Building Lobby Level). I bought a new Speedmaster 10 years ago for 35% off. He occasional has a selection of Vintage Omega's & other brands available.
