Only more recent recollections for me, but happy ones!

Hey Sam, that's something remarkable indeed!
These sites (Zowie and the sibling OtD) actually meant the beginning of my being a collector.
I used to soldier on happily with my standard, non-vintage Speedy Moonwatch till then, and while that has stayed as the centre of my collection, let us say that my view broadened - and that's thanks to Chronocentric.
As I came in late, about 6 or 7 years ago, I have no recollections of Derek's postings unluckily.
It's become a daily fixture for me to come here and it's always an enjoyable one.
Thanks to Jeff for continuing to keep this alive, and to all the regulars and all the occasional visitors and posters - definitely this is the place to go to when one wants to know something about Omega or Heuer.
Cheers,
Fabrizio

PS On the other hand, what a pity that lately the traffic here on Zowie has become so sparse.
