Andrew,
Have you tried putting the watch in different positions overnight ? I ask because I've had a SMP 'Bond' for a little over a month now. When I first got it, keeping it face up at night it was gaining about 4 seconds during the night and another 2 each day. Different positions yielded different gains. Crown up gave +1 second overnight which worked out to about +3 per day. Now, after a month of wearing it pretty much every day for about 12 hours or so it seems to have gotten significantly better. I last set it 25 days ago during which it has gained 30 seconds. Works out to +1.2 seconds per day, but in reality I think it's significantly better than that now as for the 1st 2 weeks it was off as much as +6 seconds a couple of times (when stored face up) and more typically 2 or 2-1/2 a day which would tend to skew the average up a little higher than it really shows now.
Sorry for the long-winded explanation, but I'd let it go for a couple of more weeks. Once it settles in it may very well pick up some accuracy :)
