Thanks for the info. My interest is only cleaning up the locking clasp. I would agree with others that it is best to leave the rest of the bracelet to a professional, but the clasp can be cleaned up.

The big issue in doing good work on the clasp is in finding the proper grain to match the brushed finish, and then maintaining the straight lines by buffing in one direction. The 3m pad sounds like it might work. Time Zone Tools has some bars listed in different grains, but I do not know which would be correct for the Seamaster clasp.
