Re: Opinions on quartz "Bond"
In Response To: Opinions on quartz "Bond" ()

: The watch I just purchased used from a friend was a quartz
: "Bond" Seamaster. If I had a choice I certainly
: would have purchased the automatic version. The price was
: just to good to turn down and the watch seems to be very
: well made. My question is how good is the movement in this
: watch? Is it an ETA modified by Omega to their specs?
: Anyone else own this watch and what is their opinion on it?
: Any info appreciated.

: Dave.

I own a quartz version of this watch and I love it. My main reason for buying the quartz is the fact that it's tougher to damage a quartz watch than it is an auto. It's accuracy is unbelievable. After 3 months of owning it, it only gained about 5 seconds. It makes for a great everyday watch and it goes well when I'm dressed up or down. Best Regards, Damon
