Accuracy concerns

Hi all,

I have a Bond SMP I was given for Christmas 1999. Until recently, it's been running within normal parameters (usually about +5 seconds per day). A couple months ago, however, it started gaining more time. Now it seems to gain 20-30 seconds daily.

Is it time to have it serviced? What can I expect to pay? Also, the retailer extended the warranty 2 extra years, so I've still got about 5 months left. Would this servicing/repair likely be covered? Let me know what you think.

By the way, this site is fantastic. My wife thinks I'm crazy for checking it so often, but she's not a watch person (although she did buy me my Omega, so all is forgiven).
