My wife has a mid-sized Bond quartz. (more)

The reason I got her this one is simple. She can't be bothered 'fiddling' with things (except me of course). She just puts it on and wears it. She's not interested in going to time.gov and checking the time, listening to it tick, talking about mechanical movements, or anything else associated to mechanical watches. She loves the watch, and just puts it on and wears it. The quartz is also more rugged than the auto. You don't have to concern yourself with such silliness as, "Can you hit a golfball?" or shoot a gun with it. With a quartz, she can just put it on and wear it, without my asking her if she wound it etc.
