Re: Seamaster professional or a Breitling superoce

To me it was an easy choice since I find every Breiling other than the Navitimer to have questionable styling. I find them to be overly decorated, especially in the Chronomat's case, not to mention tacky at times. I think I can say that here since this is an Omega board. Chuck Maddox, in his website, really gets into the subject of Breitling overstyling. I also find the finish on the Omega superior, not to mention the bracelet. I also like the 2892A2 movement in the Omega better than the 2824 in the Breitling. I also don't like the non-glare coating on the top of the crystal in the Breitling because it lends itself to scratching more than a non-coated crystal. I prefer a non-glare coating only on the bottom for a dive watch as in the Seamaster. But what really made my decision easier is that every other guy wears a Breiling.
