Opened July 1999, zOwie is the Internet's first and longest running discussion forum dedicated to Omega brand watches.

Feel free to discuss pricing and specific dealers. But 'for sale' postings, commercial solicitation and ads are not allowed. Full archive of all messages is accessible through options in the Search and Preferences features. Privacy, policies and administrivia are covered in the Terms of Use.

For the answer to the NUMBER #1 most frequently asked question here--for details or value of a specific older Omega watch you have--go to: Tell Me About My Omega. To contact someone with a question not relevant to other readers of the forum, please click on their email address and contact them privately.

They generally aren't questions, but criticisms >>

Your first post was February 26/02 asking for comparisons between the Omega and the Tag. Then you wanted a comparison between the Omega and the Luminox. Then you criticised everyone for wearing a $2,000 watch so they could pretend to be James Bond. Then it was sharks and shiny objects. Now, it's frequency and cost to maintain.

I don't mind answering legitimate questions, but you seem to be extraordinarily critical in this forum. Do you actually want to buy an Omega, or are you just here to criticise. Forgive me if I misjudged you, but my last question posed to you about actually buying a watch, was meant as a joke. You did not see the humor in that obviously, and chose to lash out.

Might I also suggest that you click search every once in a while. Most questions have been asked and answered. That is why there is a search category.

Regards,

Dave
