Re: Frequency & Cost to maintain

dave,

could you let me know who/where in london you had this done ?

thanks.
: load of codswallop,

: every automatic Omega my wife and I have owned,
: (total of 8) have been serviced, by the same
: independant London dealer, on about 3 yearly
: intervals. Maximum cost on one occasion (for
: a ladies seamaster) £120, which included new
: glass and crown.Average is about £70.
: New battery and re-seal for a quartz model is
: about £70 from Omega, or £35-40 from a none
: authorised dealer including pressure check.
: (of course if waterproofing isn't an issue,
: then a new battery can be as little as £5)

: shop around, ask questions and get word of
: mouth approval from quality watch owners who
: have used good repairers.

: Dave
