rolex oyster / bolox lobster

dear all
now, im not the sort to Rolex bash but, my previous employer who happens to be a local at the pub i work at has gone out and bought an 18 karat gold rolex datejust. he reckons it cost £7.5k, but im trying to find a more realistic figure. i have held the watch, worn it for 10 minutes and was initially under the impression it was fake. its 18 k gold and seems to weigh nothing. i remember xmas day last year, and unwrapping my SMP and marvelling at its weight and the fact that when you shook it it didnt rattle. this rolex oyster perpetual rattled like a bolox lobster peripheral! all in all, thoroughly dissappointed. my good mate andy raved at the clasp and closure on my SMP and yet this watch has stamped metal closure on the clasp. admittedly hewn from gold. i told my former boss that i was never a fan of dynasty but i was happy for him to have a blake carrington watch, which, i think, is all that any conscious entity could ever hope to do!
regards and all due respect,
rob andrews
