Re: Which is Better?
In Response To: Which is Better? ()

: I have been wondering for a while which company
: is better Rolex or Omega. Especially the
: Seamaster and the Seadweller. I would like
: to hear anyone's opinion. Thanx

I have a Submariner, and the Omega Seamaster gets far more compliments, and feels a whole lot nicer on the wrist. The problem with the Submariner too is that everyone just presumes it's a fake!! That said, the SEADWELLER is an entirely different matter altogether. I don't have one, but a friend does and it really does look the part... if (at least the one he's got) a bit garish.

Overall I prefer the Seamaster day to day, for comfort (and of course the Bond connection) - but I can't deny there is still just something about wearing a Rolex - despite the fact everyone thinks it's a fake :)

In terms of value for money - the Omega wins hands down everytime.. It's easily as good quality, and in my limited experience has proved very resilient (excluding the dreaded clasp scratches - why can't they do something about that???)

Cheers

Phil
