No. You are greatly overthinking the issue. It has nothing to do with the type of movement inside the watch, nor does it have anything direct to do with the water resistance rating.
The red seal is mainly used on cases with screwbacks. It is that simple. Screw back cases are usually the higher-water resistance watches. But even the Dynamic with screw-back has it even though it is only rated to 50 meters.
