Until passing the certification, having gone through quality checking in the factory, shippimg time spend on the boot, I believe the watch will have run its hours, days, maybe four weeks. It might start to run again in the warehouse where it is lying until shipping, once someone takes up the box for repacking, re-palleting etc.

I would believe this to be more a wearing issue. People having very exact wearing times and behaviors might be attracted to those going always too fast or always too slow problems. I personaly bet on the chaotic-wear theory ;-).
