He emailed photos of it to me and it was immediately obvious it was not legit.

Most blatant was that the dial markers for the hours were totally the wrong shape--they were tapered bars instead of circles and rectangles.

So everyone beware: fakes are abounding. We've been getting increasing reports of fake being bought by people thinking they were getting a deal on a real and sometimes rare or obscure model. But in reality there are no such super deals, but there are plenty of fakes to draw you in thinking there are.

Don't let your GREED in thinking you are buying something real for far less than it is worth trap you into being ripped off by someone selling cheap imitation junk.
