is going to buy a $15,000 solid 18k watch isn't digging ditches, mowing the lawn or banging it around.

Notching that premise down a bit, I have noticed that Omegas more recent 18k/SS watches (Specifically the America's Cup, and 2455.50/80) no longer have Gold Crowns our HEVs. The older models did, but perhaps that's why they are making them SS now. But my belief is that it was to put less Gold into the watch, without lowering the price. More proffit margin.
